Situational awareness and pre-planning strategies to help make dating and transitioning from cyber-relationship to meeting in-real-life.  Class format is a lecture format and total time is approximately 1 hour.  The following topics will be discussed:

  • Defensive concepts for dating

    • Inform a friend about all details

    • Location and pre-planning

    • Contact details and identity of date

    • Alert when date starts

    • Alert when date ends

    • Code word if something is wrong



  • Defensive concepts for social gatherings

  • Alcohol consumption and avoiding spiked drinks
